Mick was told he had aggressive appendiceal (bowel) cancer and needed immediate surgery and chemotherapy. For reasons outside of his control, he was unable to engage in these therapies and instead pursued changes in diet and lifestyle. He lost 80 pounds, completely changed his old nutrition habits, exercised and reformed his life. He redefined himself in order to save his own life. The biggest change that had to happen was between the ears. His beliefs and commitment to what was possible expanded into new realms. 2 years later a PET Scan shows him to be cancer-free and a heck of a lot lighter. Mick is truly alive in every sense of the word. He is living each day with a sense of control that he has earned and enjoys. Truly a celebration. His story will move you and lead you to ask yourself . . . am I fully engaged in my own life?
